Exercise and Arthritis
Arthritis pain naturally causes most adults to slow down and limit activity. Not exercising, however, can result in more problems.
Understanding how moderate exercise can help arthritis pain and disability is just the beginning. Starting an exercise program is the next step and often the toughest.
This video provides an introduction to starting a safe, effective exercise program. Be sure to talk to your doctor before starting an exercise program, especially if activity is painful for you or you have been sedentary for a long period of time.
